Hi, I'm Marie
I am a UX Designer based in Munich, and I am passionate about enhancing the lives of people through customer-centric user experiences. My fascination with human behavior and its impact on design began when I studied Psychology at university. Despite a stint in the financial industry, I soon realized that my true calling was in UX design.
UX Design drew me in with its process of understanding people's behaviors and creating intuitive and enjoyable user experiences based on behavioral insights. To learn more about this field, I attended UX meetups, took online design courses, read articles, volunteered on several UX projects for charities, and eventually completed a full-time UX Design course. During the course, I followed the design thinking process to create a health and well-being web app. You can find more information about this project on the project page.
After completing my studies, I joined a fast-paced startup as a UX Designer, designing multiple B2B and B2C SaaS products from inception to final UI design. Working alongside experienced designers, product managers, and developers has helped to advance my UX skills and knowledge. In addition, I have also volunteered my time teaching UX Design to migrants through a Munich-based charity called Redi School of Digital Integration.
I am a team player who brings an empathetic, user-oriented mindset to projects. I have a keen focus on user research, testing, and interaction design, and I am passionate about accessible design. Outside of work, I enjoy watching documentaries, playing sports, hiking, socializing, and listening to music and podcasts.
